Camel Quarkus 3.40.1 Migration Guide

The following guide outlines how to adapt your code to changes that were made in Camel Quarkus 3.40.1.

quarkus.camel.source-location-enabled deprecated

quarkus.camel.source-location-enabled duplicates the standard Apache Camel camel.main.sourceLocationEnabled option. It is deprecated and will be removed in Camel Quarkus 4.0.0. Use the Apache Camel property instead.

Core extension build items deprecated

These changes affect only custom Quarkus extensions that consume build items from camel-quarkus-core-deployment. Applications are unaffected.

The following build items are deprecated and will be removed in Camel Quarkus 4.0.0.

Build item Replacement

CamelBootstrapCompletedBuildItem

None. To act after Camel has started, observe the org.apache.camel.quarkus.main.events.AfterStart CDI event.

CamelRuntimeBuildItem

To access the runtime, inject the org.apache.camel.quarkus.core.CamelRuntime bean. To run a RUNTIME_INIT task before Camel starts, produce a CamelRuntimeTaskBuildItem.

The runtime classes org.apache.camel.quarkus.core.RegistryRoutesLoader and org.apache.camel.quarkus.core.RegistryRoutesLoaders are also deprecated and will be removed in Camel Quarkus 4.0.0.
